When we honor our ancestors, embrace our heritage, and walk confidently in who we are, something powerful shines through.

One of the things I enjoyed most about Celebration 2026 was witnessing the conviction of the people of the Mount St. Elias dancers. Their songs, their dances, and the way they honored their ancestors wasn’t a performance—it was something deeply rooted in who they are.

There is something powerful about people who know where they come from and carry that legacy forward with pride. You could feel the sincerity, the respect, and the love behind every movement and every song.

It reminded me that when we stay connected to our roots and walk with conviction in what we believe, there is a special anointing in that. Authenticity has a way of touching hearts because it comes from a place that cannot be manufactured.

Keep your eyes on that idea. There is strength in remembering where you came from, honoring those who came before you, and carrying their story forward for the next generation. ❤️
